Eureka Miniatures’ Pond Wars line has some wonderfully wacky figures like frogs armed with muskets, turtles with spears and samurai rabbits with katana and naginata. They even have a massive turtle that is the Pond Wars equivalent of the Mûmakil/Oliphaunts from Lord of the Rings. I picked up two figures just for a laugh. I chose this samurai rabbit because he reminded me of Usagi Yojimbo , who I’m a big fan of. And who doesn’t like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? The figures are about half the height of a 28mm human miniature. For some added height and visual interest I mounted them on bits of cork that I snapped off from an old coaster. A simple paint job and there you have it!
